lakers stop the spurs in the 2ND HAlf. but how about he following games 2 3 4 5 6 or maybe 7?? i know. spurs are worned that. but the spurs cannot lose like that.

if you recall, the spurs didn't even make it out of new orleans until nearly the day before the game...so they had less time to rest than the normal 48 hours....so they got tired

i'm just pissed the way the spurs lost...the lakers didn't deserve to win that game...but still...new orleans beat san antonio by more...so it's looking good that the spurs can win in LA...question is....can the lakers win in san antonio??

and i don't think the lakers stopped the spurs much...the spurs stopped themselves...taking wild jumpshots that weren't falling....the refs blew some calls (in both directions...the refs were pretty fair...against the lakers in the beginning but made up for it w/ some anti-spurs calls in the end)

although i'm so pissed about the loss (and about what it did for some obnoxious laker fans) i'm feeling better about the spurs chances of winning the series...at least they only lost by 4 instead of by 40.

Spurs choked, maybe it's due to fatigue or something, but give the Lakers credit, they fought hard, and Kobe won the game for them.

Lakers needs to do a better job on Tim Duncan, I don't think Gasol can single cover him, but at the same time don't expect Kobe to score 2pts in the first half either. I think someone has to help out when duncan is driving in the lane, maybe go for the stripe or something.

i think if the lakers keep up playing good defense they will keep on winning. remember the previous game? lakers played good defense in the 2nd half and the spurs couldn't score crap. i don't think the lakers need to worry about the offense even though fisher and odom had a bad night because they can always find their rhtym going.
I dont think the Lakers will beat the Spurs..i said it before..whoever would win the Spurs vs. Hornets series would probly end up winning it all. i stand by that..the lakers got back in the game last night....call it defense..call it fatigue..call it what u want.....but i as a spurs fan know that these scoring droughts have been going on for the Spurs all season long.....did u notice that Kobe wasnt doing anything until bowen went to the bench and they switched Udoka on Kobe............and then he got off.....we all know kobe can be a streaky shooter..should of kept Bowen on kobe in that 3rd quarter before he went off......dont expect the Spurs to blow another lead like that!! Every game is different. It's rare that the top three players for either the Lakers or Spurs will have big nights in the same game; therefore this series will be determined by the Fishers, Sashas, Arizas, Finleys, Horrys and Obertos.
the spurs will lose like that. this game is like that 2ot loss for the Suns when the played the Spurs. I predict that the Spurs will lose in 5. The Spurs will fall apart like the Suns did.
